RUBiS moves into semi final stage….

A fantastic nights play at the BSRA saw Joe Budzinski continue his run beating Padraic Browne 15/14 in the 5th game! Liz Martin sneak past Dave Turner also in 5 games although a little more comfortable.. 15/12 in the 5th! Dion Cullum and Nick Hirn battled into the wee hours only for Dion to finally edge out a 3/2 win… Tommy Sherratt continues to impress with another relaxed display dispatching Spencer Moss in 3 straight games… The last match of the night was the experienced Stephen Smith against up and coming superstar junior Micah Franklin… The match was long, constantly interupted by lets and queries with the ref but eventually after a nerve racking ending Micah came out on top 15/12 in the 5th game.

Club Nights at the BSRA are a hit!

Last night proved that BSRA club night last week wasn’t a ‘one hit wonder’ as once again the club was full of squash players battling it out before enjoying a couple of beverages and some tasty food…. courtesy of Dave Turner who apparently spent the evening stood at the BBQ out in the rain! Thanks Dave!
NB. No club night next Friday 10th Oct due to it being semi final night of the RUBiS Divisional Handicap Tournament. Come down and watch some squash instead!
